Full Job Description

Contract Scotland is working with our civil engineering as they look to add a Risk Manager to their expanding team. The role is predominantly based in their Kilsyth Office. However, you may be required to be project-based on occasion.

 

As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) in compliance with the Joint venture governance, process and objectives (ISO 31000:2009) to identify, analyse, evaluate and treat risks and opportunities for the business
  • Facilitation of workshops, using for risk & opportunity and lessons learnt processes
  • Undertaking day-to-day risk management activities including identification, prioritisation, register management, action planning and monitoring
  • Production of risk reports including risk expenditure, impacted risk/drawdown and risk exposure changes
  • Use knowledge and experience gained from working in other business sectors to ensure the identification and management of all significant risks and opportunities in order to achieve business objectives.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience in a variety of business sectors including public, private and third sector
  • Used Enterprise Risk Management software tools
  • Experience in the delivery of risk management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Understanding of contracts and the relationship between risk management and controls/management functions including project management, change control, planning & scheduling, cost & commercial management and reporting
  • Evidence of previous experience in the definition and delivery of risk management plans
