RM193365 - Nursery Assistant - Band 2 

Permanent - 37 hours per week - Little Acorns 

We are pleased to offer applicants the opportunity to join our NHS Grampian Nurseries team at Little Acorns Day Nursery as one of our Nursery Assistants, which is based on-site of Royal Cornhill Hospital. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting children from 6 months up to 5 year in their care, learning and development.
Applicants should ideally have relevant experience of working in a nursery setting and be willing to interact with the children at their individual levels, be proactive in the day to day care of the children and take forward planning and observations of their key children using the nurseries Interactive Learning Diary (ILD) system. They will aim to ensure that their overall needs are met through supporting both indoor and outdoor play. Candidates must show willingness to be part of the nursery team, be supportive and show good communication skills.

Applicants should be willing to work towards or have the following qualifications as per the SSSC requirements for the Nursery Assistant role; SVQ SSCYP SCQF Level 6 or NC in Childhood Practice or equivalent. Candidates will also be required to take forward further training to develop their continuous professional learning and development.

The role is full time, flexibility between the working hours of 6.45 a.m.-6.00 p.m. is required.
