Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled time served Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and roughcasting, with the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. The position will be full time with wages negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Install roofing systems, including slate, tiles, and flat roofs.
• Repair and replace damaged roofing materials as needed.
• Conduct inspections to assess the condition of roofs and identify necessary repairs.
• Work with various materials for roofing solutions.
• Perform heavy lifting and manoeuvre materials safely on-site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency in using power tools and equipment relevant to roofing tasks.
• SVQ Level 3 Minimum - Advanced level preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Physical stamina and strength for heavy lifting and working at heights.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
• Effective communication and excellent customer service skills.
• Full Driving licence preferred.
