Room Service Server

Reporting to the Room Service Manager, as Room Service Server you will play a key role in our guest's stay with us. By serving them food and drinks in the comfort of their own rooms, your mission is to make our guests feel like they are in a home away from home. Room Service is a department that operates 24 hours a day, and so flexibility in your availability to work is required. We are looking for people who are detail-oriented, a people-person and work well under pressure! As Room Service Server, key aspects of your role will include:

• Ensuring food and drinks are perfectly presented before serving to guests
• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in their rooms
• Answer any questions on the menu selection, including how food has been prepared, any modifications that can be made, and what allergens are present
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding questions, length of wait, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass and silverware before serving it to guests
• Restock items
• Present physical and accurate check to guests and process payments on service
• Follow health and safety guidelines and policies to report accidents and injuries
