The team is actively involved in Natural Capital and Land Reform, advising on carbon sequestration, net-zero projects, and community land projects.

You will work alongside a highly regarded team of experts, providing advisory and transactional support across complex rural property matters. Collaboration with colleagues in Renewable Energy, Banking & Finance, and Private Client teams will enable you to deliver comprehensive solutions to public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on rural property transactions, including estates, farms, and land assets.
  • Supporting complex transactions, particularly in relation to Natural Capital and community land projects.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive legal solutions for clients.
  • Developing and nurturing strong client relationships across Scotland’s rural sector.

About You:

  • Scottish Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE
  • Individual with strong communication skills and a desire to further their professional development in a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Previous experience in rural property is beneficial, but not essential.
  • A keen interest in rural transactions, Natural Capital, and sustainability-focused projects will be valuable in this role.

What’s on Offer:

  • Training and Development: Opportunities to develop your expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
  • Flexible Working: A culture that embraces flexibility in when and where you work.
  • Recognition and Benefits: The firm is consistently recognised for excellence, with competitive salary, benefits, and active engagement in wellbeing and CSR initiatives.
