Full Job Description

Anderson Knight is recruiting a Safety and Compliance Administrator to join our reputable client based in South Lanarkshire.


This role is integral to maintaining and improving compliance standards across the organisation while ensuring a proactive approach to safety and quality management.


Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:30 – 16:45; Friday, 08:30 – 14:00

Salary: £28,000–£33,000 DOE


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administering the Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety management systems, ensuring compliance and ongoing improvement.

• Assisting with the coordination of non-conformance processes, liaising with internal teams, external stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to ensure swift resolution.

• Maintaining detailed records of audits, non-conformances, and corrective actions, and generating reports with insights for trend analysis and continuous improvement.

• Organising and supporting management meetings related to compliance and accreditation systems.

• Managing audit schedules to uphold the Plant’s safety and compliance certifications.

• Administering internal corrective actions and responses to customer non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring effective tracking and follow-up.

• Conducting daily compliance and safety process checks.

• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to support maintenance planning and safety initiatives.

• Leading or supporting HACCP-related activities to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.

• Attending customer sites as required to support compliance efforts.


Key Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Experience or working knowledge of ISO standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., BRCGS) is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with quality and safety inspections, with preferred qualifications such as Internal Auditor certification or Level 3 HACCP training.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Excellent attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

• Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.

• Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Team-oriented with a flexible approach to work.
