Full Job Description

We are seeking GPs to provide regular hours either on a part-time or full-time basis. Part-time working can be as little as one regular session per week with the option to increase hours flexibly according to your availability. While working for the Out of Hours service, you will be covered by Crown Indemnity through the CNORIS arrangements although you may require your own indemnity cover for any other roles in your portfolio. You will benefit from support with education, personal development and appraisal when working in the OOH service. Successful candidates will be provided with a laptop to facilitate remote working and to assist with learning, development and communication with wider local services.

The role involves all aspects of urgent care in a primary care setting including remote consulting by telephone or video, face to face consulting in our primary care centres and home visiting. Experience and confidence in these aspects of care will be an advantage., You will have relevant, demonstrable experience and a track record of success in a team with colleagues in your own and other disciplines. You must be able to evidence commitment to patient-focused care, continuous professional development and life-long learning. You will be able to demonstrate learning and continuing professional development. You will have the ability to take full responsibility for independent management of patients and communicate effectively and clearly with patients and other team members
