Role Overview:

The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to drive growth across our food service customer base. You will work closely with the leadership team to align sales targets with business goals and ensure consistent revenue growth while maintaining our high standards of customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to make a real impact within a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and monitor effective sales strategies to expand market share within the food service sector.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Market Development: Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and expand the customer base in line with the company's growth objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and build strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the senior management team, ensuring transparency in performance against KPIs.
  • Collaborative Working: Work closely with the operations and supply chain teams to ensure smooth delivery of products, maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent us at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities, showcasing the quality of our products and services.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Director or Senior Sales Manager, preferably within the food service or butchery sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the food service industry and trends within the meat and butchery markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and expand market share in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and leading successful sales teams.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
