Are you a Sales Manager looking for the opportunity to work with an award winning private developer?


Our client is a privately owned luxury housebuilder known for producing high end homes across Ayrshire. Following on from a period of growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to cover developments from Ayrshire to Aberdeen given newly acquired sites in other regions across Scotland. With the goal of maintaining the standards set on previous developments, this role presents the opportunity for someone who thrives working with genuine autonomy and the chance to have a positive impact on an established sales team.


Reporting to the Managing Director, key responsibilities of the role include:


  • Managing a team of experienced Sales Advisors across their developments to ensure targets are met and to ensure successful delivery of sales strategy across the board.
  • Collating, checking and developing all reports for monthly and weekly review.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure Sales are delivering correct reports and information on time.
  • Mentor and develop new personnel to ensure successful induction and ongoing performance.
  • Lead the development of policies, procedures and objectives for marketing and selling the company’s products and services to ensure continuity across all regions.
  • Develop, orchestrate and implement strategies to ensure the successful and efficient functionality of the sales department.
  • Plan, forecast and control budgets and staffing requirements.
  • Oversee further training of employees, setting expectations, organisational development, performance management, succession planning, motivating, coaching, and problem resolution.
  • Building and improving an effective skills structure through training.
  • Establish and deliver marketing strategies to meet organisational objectives.

This role requires a self starter with a can do attitude and someone who is not afraid to role their sleaves up in a small business and get stuck in. Ideally you will have sales experience in the new build housebuilding industry and have a track record of developing and motivating teams to achieve their best. Working hours will be Monday – Friday and some travel between developments will be required from time to time.
