Full Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Support Consultant to join our National Support Unit on a permanent basis in Edinburgh.

Within this role you will provide support to both Advisers and Sales consultants. This involves producing New Business Illustrations and dealing with product and proposition queries, delivering a quality customer and adviser experience.

Our overall goal is to provide a market leading pre-sale customer experience which helps deliver the Intermediary Pensions Sales target.

About the role

  • Produce accurate New Business Pensions illustrations for Individual and Group contracts to assist in securing business.

  • Provide a first point of contact to advisers, answering their queries and maintaining positive relationships.

  • Deliver excellent customer service, dealing with varied and complex queries to provide a satisfactory solution.

  • Demonstrate full awareness of our Pensions product range, providing information and technical support to both advisers and consultants.

  • Assist with technical queries and provide guidance where required.

  • Identify Sales leads and gather necessary information on business/case size.

  • Support Advisers utilise the Royal London systems.

  • Support Advisers presales queries.

    Financial Services background helpful but not essential.

  • Previous experience in a similar Sales support position.

  • Pension Industry awareness.

  • Regulatory knowledge.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Good communication and relationship building skills.
