Sales Support / Trainee Paraplanner

Eden Scott's client who is a firm of independent financial advisers who provide holistic advice to high net worth private clients, with offices in Edinburgh are looking for a Sales Support Administrator to join their team in Edinburgh

The successful Individual should ideally have some advisor support experience within an IFA environment, and excellent administration and communication skills, and a good working knowledge of a full range of financial products.

This is a varied and interesting role for individual who would like to progress there career to a trainee paraplanner

Responsibilities

• Supporting the advisors and paraplanners in all aspects of the financial planning process, and liaising with the colleagues on new and existing business matters

• Processing new business in a timely and efficient manner, including platform work, where knowledge of trading platforms would be of benefit

• Gathering information and preparing valuations ahead of client meetings

• Drafting of correspondence and liaising with clients and providers where necessary

• Database management, ensuring client records are created and maintained to the highest possible standards, where experience of the Intelligent Office back office system would be useful

• Undertaking research into existing and new client portfolios, including collation of appropriate information from providers

Salary is negotiable for the right candidate and full support will be provided in accordance with the firms training regime in respect of the relevant professional qualifications.
