Sampling Driver

Intertek are currently recruiting for a Mobile Hygiene Technician to assist with all aspects of Mobile Hygiene Sampling and all associated administration. You will be responsible for conducting visual and temperature checks, collecting food and water samples as well as taking swabs from our customer sites within the UK in accordance with predetermined times scales, delivering the samples to an Intertek Lab or other location as required. You will be responsible for assisting the Customer Services and Transport Team regarding the Intertek 5X5 and 10X policies and ensure that the Team play an active role in growing the Ethical and Values driven Culture and Team Development of the business.,

• This is a mobile role, travelling to client sites throughout the UK and NI and completing the necessary tasks to maintain compliance.
• Co-ordinating the store auditing and collection of samples from customer sites in accordance with pre-determined times scales and sampling plan; delivering the samples to an Intertek Lab or other location as required.
• Registering samples onto a web-based program.
• To complete a Level 2 Food Hygiene course.
• To ensure weekly and monthly reporting is completed.
• Attend Customer review meetings.
• Be part of a small growing team of Hygiene Technicians.
• Ensure that sampling is conducted efficiently to maximise revenue whilst keeping costs minimal.
• Overseeing Quality Management Systems andcomplying with accreditation requirements
• Ensure Health & Safety requirements are continuously met.
  
  Full, clean driving license with no more than 6 points
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Email etc)
• A good geographical knowledge of the UK
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the industry or similar role
• Food hygiene knowledge would be beneficial
