Post Title: School Nurse/Trainee School Nurse
Location: Kyle of Lochalsh
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Band 5/6 £24,270 - £29,575 p.a. (£39,912 - £48,635 pro rata)
Band 5 for Trainee School Nurse, rising to Band 6 on completion of training period
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Leading, delivering and evaluating universal public health programmes for school-aged children and young people (5 - 19 years) within school and community settings including the planning coordination of the school age immunisation programme.
Supporting education colleagues in their role as the Named Person in contributing to the development of the Child Plan through comprehensive assessment using the national practice model.
Providing leadership within health assessment and care planning.
