Full Job Description

As a Scientific Administrator in the life sciences department, you will provide essential administrative support to our scientific staff, ensuring efficient project coordination, documentation, and regulatory compliance. You will be a key point of contact for laboratory staff, and external partners, playing a pivotal role in facilitating the day-to-day operations of our research environment.,

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the research and development team, including managing correspondence, and maintaining project timelines.

  • Document Management: Organise, maintain, and update scientific documentation, including research reports, project proposals, regulatory submissions, and study data.

  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately input and manage scientific data, ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

  • Project Coordination: Assist with the planning and coordination of scientific projects, including tracking progress, managing project schedules, and ensuring key milestones are met.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have administration/ coordination experience within the Scientific industry. You will also need to have the following key skills:

  • High level word processing and computing skills, with effective knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel

  • Competent literacy skills, high standard of written English

  • Good communication skills, verbal and written

  • Ability to work under pressure, to tight timelines

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
