Seasonal Delivery Driver

We currently have a position available, starting ASAP for a Delivery Driver to deliver fruit to our local customers. This is a part time position delivering 3 days a week . The post will be required for the next 5 to 6 weeks. Start time and finish times may vary, but on average you may start work at 7am and finish 7pm.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
- Load and unload products from the van
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Collect payments from customers, if required
- Ensuring the correct quantities are packed onto the van prior to delivering.
-Accurately completing delivery notes, and making sure customers receive correct and accurate delivery notes according to their orders and the office receives all counterparts.
-Cleaning the van at end of the day and make sure to accurately record vehicle checks and keep track of vehicle servicing.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years driving experience
-Good time keeping skills
- Ability to drive and operate a delivery van in a safe and efficient manner
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively
