Full Job Description

We support responsible access, and positive visitor engagement is an important task for all our staff. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a public-facing environment and acting as an ambassador for the Estate.,

  • Working alongside the Head Gamekeeper, to achieve deer cull targets and excelling in the hospitality of guests during stalking seasons.
  • Working alongside the wider team in carrying out vermin control and maintenance tasks, such fencing, bridges, tracks and vehicle maintenance.
  • Participating in environmental work such as habitat monitoring and habitat enhancement.
  • Represent the Estate in the absence of the Head Gamekeeper.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and quality standards are maintained.
  • Demonstrate a level of flexibility to perform other tasks associated to the safe and efficient operation of the Estate.
