Overview:
An exciting opportunity is available for a Section Engineer to join a skilled team on a new substation project in Beauly. This role is part of a significant infrastructure development in the renewable energy sector, ideal for engineers who want to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee engineering tasks to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion
  • Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other teams to streamline activities
  • Develop detailed engineering plans and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
  • Track project progress and address any arising issues
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors for smooth communication
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on-site
  • Conduct regular site inspections, maintaining strict quality control

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Experience as a Section Engineer or similar role, preferably on large-scale projects
  • Strong grasp of construction processes, engineering principles, and project management
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in engineering software
  • Valid CSCS card and relevant health and safety certifications
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
