Full Job Description

Are you an experienced Semiconductor Test Development Engineer seeking a high-impact role in a rapidly growing industry? Excited by the idea of advancing battery technology to drive clean energy solutions and support the journey to net zero?

Who will you be working with?
Our client is an innovator focused on transforming battery systems for electric vehicles and energy storage. Their unique technology improves battery performance, safety, and efficiency, supporting a more sustainable, clean energy future.

They're at a pivotal stage of development and are seeking an experienced Test Development Engineer with the ability to develop test systems and solutions to test, characterize, validate, and evaluate the ASIC performance against its design requirements and datasheet specifications.

What you can expect to work on:

  • Developing test systems to characterise and validate ASIC performance against design specifications, focusing on automotive quality standards.
  • Designing test hardware for high-accuracy production testing, utilising parallelism for efficient multisite testing.
  • Creating and refining test programs for production and bench testing, optimising yield, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Working closely with engineering and project management teams to address test-related challenges, from root cause analysis to corrective actions.
  • Preparing comprehensive documentation of test procedures and summarising findings for cross-functional review.

What you will need to thrive as an applicant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in semiconductor testing, including hands-on experience with ATE systems and high-volume production.
  • Proficiency in test methodologies, digital circuit testing, and advanced scripting languages (Python, C, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Teradyne systems and RF testing is advantageous, but not required.
