Senior Accountant

We are delighted to be supporting our client as they look to add to their finance team at Senior Accountant level to work closely with the Finance Manager with supervision of an Assistant Accountant, and to take responsibility for the preparation of reports, records and accounts to aid management decision making.

You will be either part or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA with experience in analysis and assisting with strategic decision making based on financial information.

Duties will include:

• Ensure suitable financial controls are in place to properly record all financial transactions.
• Ensure company compliance with all group and regional financial policies.
• Ensure company compliance on all HMRC requirements.
• Preparation of monthly management Accounts pack and ancillary reconciliations.
• Preparation of weekly cash flow forecast and cash monitoring.
• Production of annual and interim budgets.
• Production of ad hoc management reports.
• Supervision of Assistant Accountant.
• Provide general finance support to all members of staff.
• Any other reasonable duties as required.

Previous experience of working with Microsoft D365 Software is desirable, and a flexible approach to tasks and roles is required.
