Senior Accountant

Iconic Resourcing have an exciting role to take to market for a Senior Accountant for our client a hugely successful multi-national service business. The role is based in Glasgow and will work in a talented team, with great growth potential. 

Reporting to a Financial Controller, the role will provide key oversight to Accounting Operations, and collaborate with other finance and operational teams, whilst facing off to a number of key business stakeholders who are located across the globe.  

Key responsibilities:

• Analyse P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, providing trend and variance analysis
• Review and approve month-end reports, inclusive of high risk journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Review, research and correct General Ledger discrepancies
• Deep dive analysis on Balance Sheet and present outcomes to stakeholders
• Internal stakeholder relationship management
• Responsible for GAAP financials reporting for key EMEA legal entities
• Work on various financial projects, largely related to EMEA finance process improvement
• Work collaboratively with other finance and operational teams 

This is a excellent role for a qualified Accountant, with good business experience, ideally having experience of working with a medium to large corporate business, with good experience management, divisional or entity reporting and high level analysis.
