Full Job Description
Binnies an RSK Group company is looking for a new Senior Asset Management Consultant to join our growing Operations and Maintenance Excellence team. We undertake feasibility studies to select optimum solutions; prepare business cases to unlock funding; design cost-efficient schemes using the latest digital technologies; provide construction supervision and administrative support; and advise on how to best manage and extend the life of our clients' assets. Working within either Operational Excellence, Maintenance Excellence (or a combination of the 2), the Senior Consultant will be part of the O&M Leadership team to help both deliver projects, but also coach and mentor junior consultants as part of their Asset Management journey. About the Role
- Taking the lead for various aspects of project delivery, reporting into the wider project team on progress.
- Be an ambassador of Binnies ENGAGED behaviours, leading by example to support the wider O&ME team.
- Development of project proposals, including project costings.
- Assessing effectiveness of existing operational and maintenance activities and identifying improvements.
- Leading projects delivering a variety of Operational or Maintenance Excellence principles and practices.
- Regular client liaison; provision of project updates, participation in working groups, stakeholder meetings, project proposal presentations., We create sustainable critical infrastructure across the whole asset life cycle to meet the net zero challenge. We de-risk projects through collaborative engagement and holistic thinking which builds inclusive wealth for our clients, stakeholders and communities. Water We are engaged in every aspect of the water industry, helping clients efficiently and effectively collect, store, move and treat water and wastewater; plan and manage watersheds; harness the energy embedded in the treatment and movement of water and enhance sustainability. We incorporate leading-edge digital transformation to create more resilient and reliable solutions using data analytics to provide powerful insights.
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Ability to understand operational performance both from data, but also from direct observation of site and equipment performance.
- Able to form and communicate effectively opinions on potential improvements to ways of working at a level in an organisation. Desirable Requirements
- Project Management experience (or qualification)
- Operations or maintenance supervisory experience in asset intensive industries.
- Experience of working for or within an asset intensive environment
- Experience of or training in reliability transformation or theory
- Experience of or training in continuous improvement/operational excellence

The role is suitable for candidates with a background in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography, Water & Environmental Management or another related discipline. You should possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and knowledge:
