Are you ready to help shape the future of our water business?, Reporting to the Work Winning Lead for Water, our Senior Bid Manager will deliver high quality proposals, work collaboratively with stakeholders and adhere to AECOM's work winning processes. You will be a part of our Environment, Water, and Energy (EWE) business focused on solving challenges around climate change, water scarcity and the energy transition. Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and managing large/complex proposals that may involve multiple departments and regions, supporting from capture through to interview/lessons learned stage.
- Overseeing positioning and capture activities, including facilitating win strategy workshops, working with key internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Following best practices, using AECOM processes and templates to create compliant and compelling bids.
- Leading and driving forwards all bid stages including kick off, answer planning, review stages, document production, interviews - adding value as a subject matter expert in bidding.
- Analysing internal debriefs and client feedback on proposals to ensure and demonstrate continuous improvement and identify trends, lessons learned and best practices across clients and markets.
- Lead discrete projects within the work winning team to embed best practice in bidding across EWE, such as delivering training.
- Assist the Water Work Winning Lead with active pipeline management and resource planning. Being part of the team: As part of the EWE Work Winning Team, you will contribute to initiatives to improve the quality of bids across the EWE business through preparation of training materials, knowledge management and upkeep of the bid library, and promoting the use of industry-recognised processes.
In this position, you have the unique opportunity to manage the end-to-end work winning process for our most complex and strategic water bids, ranging in value from £5m to £20m+.
