Post Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Inverness - 2B Castle Wynd, IV2 3EQ
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £42,879 - £46,410 p.a

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: This is an exciting role, cross-cutting all council services. You will play a crucial role in analysing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the implementation of effective solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Council operations.

You will be a great facilitator, with the ability to understand and translate business problems and opportunities into requirements. The role will require strong interpersonal skills, the confidence to challenge the status quo, and the ability to influence and work collaboratively at all levels across the organisation.

As a senior business analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to guide and support other analysts and influence methodologies and frameworks.

The role is hybrid, either from home or from any of our Highland Council hub offices. There will be a requirement for regular team working in person.

Requirements

Educated to degree level in business analysis, business administration, information technology, or a related field; or proven experience in business analysis for at least 3 years
