Full Job Description

Do you want to help continue to shape our journey through being strategically minded and inspiring change? We continue to support the delivery of our growth strategy as we Help Britain Prosper. Are you a strong leader and able to influence senior stakeholders? Do you enjoy engaging and influencing a wide range of people? Are you enthusiastic about driving efficient solutions by working collaboratively? Are you motivated to resolve business problems and not afraid to challenge? Are you interested in a role in a fast-paced environment as we're looking for a values-led progressive leader?

If you answer yes to some or all these questions, then we'd love to hear from you!

We're looking for a Senior Manager to implement, monitor and partner our offshore and outsourced activities undertaken on behalf of the Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) division and the CIB Chief Operating Office (COO). Within the CIB COO, we work alongside the wider CIB & Group teams to best serve our clients on an efficient and effective basis. We have an exciting new opportunity in our high-profile team, reporting into the Head of Innovation and Productivity to drive our operating model for the future.

What the role entails:

You'll shape the purpose and the strategy of the offshoring and outsourcing capability, ensuring the alignment to the CIB strategy as well as:

  • Identify and use our offshore capabilities that improve our business processes.

  • Undertake the programme management of any outsourcing or offshoring projects within CIB.

  • Be responsible for the performance and relationship management of any new or existing offshore partners.

  • Co-ordinate and ensure execution of quality controls through our Risk Management Framework to ensure compliance of any legal and regulatory requirements embedded in any operational policies and procedures.

  • Encourage and support the implementation of technology and any digital platforms into the business to support our technology strategy as part of the change & innovation agenda within the CIB Division.

  • You'll influence the outsource and offshoring strategy to set us for future success, including managing a range of senior partners within and outside of CIB.

A solid track record of project management, and the ability to create a strong and efficient Target Operating Model.

  • Experience working with offshore resources, embedding the necessary controls and performance frameworks.

  • Great operations skills, process production and execution experience with a broad experience in problem solving and interpreting complex processes.

  • Experience in Risk and Regulatory compliance, with the ability to map a risk and control framework.

  • A visible leader and mentor, with a proven track record of delivery through others.

  • An analytical approach, able to consider cost implications and cost savings.

  • Drive for continually identifying improvement and simplification, to improve both client and business unit outcomes.

  • Leadership, able to develop and be a role model for your team, championing performance frameworks and ensuring that individual and team performance meets the standards we need.

At Lloyds Banking Group, we're driven by a clear purpose; to help Britain prosper. Across the Group, our colleagues are focused on making a difference to customers, businesses and communities. With us you'll have a key role to play in shaping the financial services of the future, whilst the scale and reach of our Group means you'll have many opportunities to learn, grow and develop.

  • We keep your data safe. So, we'll only ever ask you to provide confidential or sensitive information once you have formally been invited along to an interview or accepted a verbal offer to join us which is when we run our background checks. We'll always explain what we need and why, with any request coming from a trusted Lloyds Banking Group person.

We're focused on creating a values-led culture and are committed to building a workforce which reflects the diversity of the customers and communities we serve. Together we're building a truly inclusive workplace where all of our colleagues have the opportunity to make a real difference.

Our focus is to ensure we're inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms. We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of background, identity or culture
We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer initiative.
And it's why we especially welcome applications from under-represented groups. We're disability confident. So if you'd like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know.

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:
  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%

  • An annual performance-related bonus

  • Share schemes including free shares

  • Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping

  • 30 days' holiday, with bank holidays on top

  • A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies
