Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our office support team at Ross High School. Providing administrative support to the school along with liaising with parent/carers and partners., To provide administrative, clerical, reception and information support to the school through a range of tasks carried out within well-defined regulations.

Educated to 'Higher' level, NC or SVQ level 2 in English and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience., Disability Confident

Ross High School is a co-educational, non-denominational school situated in Tranent, East Lothian approximately 12 miles from the centre of Edinburgh. The school roll is currently over 1200 pupils, this is due to increase over the next few years. The school has good facilities for students and is continually looking for ways to broaden the learning environment out with the school, working together with partners within the community.

The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.

Hourly rate of pay: £12.29 - £13.11
This is a 39-week sessional post i.e. working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days.

Thursday, 09:00-15:30
Friday, 08:30-12:30
To start 2nd December 2024.
