What You'll Do:
As a Buyer, you will be a key part of the Supply Chain Management team, supporting both onshore and offshore operations as well as live tenders. Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing competitive bids from suppliers for materials, services, and rentals that meet specifications, budget, and timelines.
- Negotiating and securing favourable contract terms with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
- Developing strong relationships with suppliers, including site visits to evaluate their capabilities.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote best practices and manage risks effectively.
What We're Looking For:
- Procurement experience or relevant commercial experience in buying, sourcing, or negotiating.
- Relevant experience coming from an energy sector background.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft 365. Experience with SAP or SAP Ariba is desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your workload efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively at all levels.
