Full Job Description
- A care assistant take the next step up to senior care asst
- An experienced senior care assistant become a team leader
- Supported a student become a registered nurse, whilst gaining invaluable experience. All the above wouldn't have become a reality without the support of our well-respected and highly thought of Home Manager, who knows what its like to take the daunting steps from a rookie care assistant into a high achieving home manager., As Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in leading our care team, ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care, and creating a warm, supportive environment. You'll coordinate shifts, lead by example, and be responsible for the performance of your team during each shift. Your leadership will help us maintain a caring, efficient, and positive atmosphere in our home.
- Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care is the minimum requirement.
- Medication Training: Practical Medication Administration with competencies is required.
- Written care plans: Ability to create, update, and maintain detailed, person-centred care plans.
- Leadership Skills: Someone who can lead a team, prior experience of this is essential.
- Compassionate Nature: A kind, caring, and compassionate personality with a sense of fun and a commitment to person-centred care.
