Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic and self motivated individual to lead and manage the gynaecology inpatient and outpatient service in Forth Valley. You will be required to support and lead the team in all aspects of womens health including gynaecological conditions, cancer and early pregnancy.

It is essential that you have extensive experience within gynaecology and have the ability to lead and promote high quality care. The Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills and have experience in managing staff within the clinical environment.

A keen interest in patient safety, excellent clinical knowledge, recent evidence of ongoing CPD, an awareness of research-based evidence/guidelines and have competent IT skills are essential.  The applicant should possess good leadership skills and have the ability to adapt your skills to ever changing situations. The role requires you to provide day to day clinical and managerial support to the registered nurses in their practice and professional development.

This is a senior nursing role and there is an expectation that the post holder will fully participate in the clinical and professional leadership within the organisation.
