Job – Senior Civil Engineer

Location – Glasgow

Sector – Water and Wastewater Infrastructure

Our client is seeking Senior Civil Engineers to join their team on a permanent basis, delivering Scottish Water’s SR21 Water and Wastewater Infrastructure programme. This role will support our growing workload with Scottish Water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver project requirements to meet client specifications and standards.
• Work independently, supervise junior staff, and check the work of others.
• Conduct site visits, surveys, inspections, and support subcontractors.
• Prepare and review feasibility studies, technical reports, and other documents.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and other regulations.
• Prepare and check design calculations, drawings, and documentation.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and introduce innovations where applicable.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered or Incorporated (CEng/IEng) status or working towards it.
• Experience in the utility industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication, organisational, and technical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
