Full Job Description

Governance Team are looking to recruit to the post of Senior Committee Assistant. We are looking for people with great customer service skills, who thrive in a fast paced environment, have an eye for detail and who enjoy being part of a team. They'd be working as part of the Committee Services Team who provide administrative and governance support for the meetings of Council and its Committees and work closely with the Council's 36 Elected Members.

The post may involve some travel across the Council area and there may be a requirement to work out with normal hours on occasion. Full training will be provided.

The post will be on a temporary basis to cover a secondment until 31 May 2026., This is a temporary post which may be filled on a secondment basis by an employee wishing to gain experience/career development and will be at the discretion of the employee's director.
