Full Job Description

This role is responsible for implementing and evolving our DE&I strategy across IP&I and reporting progress to the Executive Committee and Insurance Board. The role sits within the Group DE&I Team, part of the LBG People & Places function.,

    What you'll be doing
  • Reporting to the Group DE&I Director and working with the IP&I People Director, and other Business Executives you'll enable the desired DE&I outcomes across IP&I.


  • Implementing and evolving the IP&I DE&I strategy using agile ways of working, partnering across the business to deliver against our established set of targets.


  • Analysing DE&I data and insight to identify DE&I challenges and solutions, telling the story to colleagues, leadership, and Board, and building the right support for interventions.


  • Providing expert consultancy to the business leadership teams and building the capability across the business leaders to enable real advocacy around DE&I.


  • Delivering considerable programmes of upskill and support for key segments of our business to tangibly grow our pipeline of diverse talent internally.


  • Using external perspectives and partnerships to design market-leading DE&I activity, contributing to thought-leadership externally and bringing the best in-house.


  • Line managing our DE&I Manager for IP&I, setting and supporting their strategic delivery priorities through regular check-ins and development conversations


  • Managing our community of DE&I volunteers and senior allies, ensuring that activity aligns to the DE&I strategy and Group best practice.


  • Managing risks across the DE&I agenda and supporting the business and Group to mitigate these risks.

    Strong data capabilities to analyse and present data to senior audiences
