Full Job Description

You will partner closely with senior business leaders to understand their evolving needs and translate them into effective HR solutions to achieve the highest levels of performance and engagement among our people. The Incumbent reports to the Senior Vice President, HRBP US Commercial and supports the Senior Vice President, US Innovative Medicines, the Head of US Commercial Operations & Analytics, and SVP Value & Market Access, participating fully on the leadership teams. This role will help lead change management initiatives and oversee all people management related issues, including talent management, executive coaching, talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and organizational design and development.,

  • Direct Leadership: Manage US Commercial HR team representing employees across the United States.
  • Strategic HR: Develop and implement an integrated people strategy for the business unit, encompassing organizational design, leadership and talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, development, and retention.
  • Future-Focused HR: Anticipate future organizational needs and potential disruption areas.
  • Organizational Design: Lead initiatives to optimize structures and processes for enhanced business performance.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement effective change management strategies to minimize disruption and maximize employee adoption of new initiatives.
  • Organizational Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Progressive HR Practices: Build and maintain progressive human resources practices with the business acumen to influence company performance and objectives.
  • High-Performance Culture: Partner with stakeholders to foster a high-performance culture and continuous improvement within the Business Unit.
  • Inclusive HR Programs: Ensure HR programs leverage diversity, motivate employee engagement, and reward performance.
  • Executive Coaching: Coach and provide advice to leaders and employees on strategic and complex organizational and employee issues, offering proactive and pragmatic solutions.     Minimum of 15 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a large, complex, matrixed, and fast-changing global business.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in all areas of HR with a strong focus on employee engagement, talent management, organizational effectiveness, recruitment and organizational development.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR strategies within the Commercial Business Unit of a large global company. Experience working in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of commercial operations, sales cycles, and regulatory compliance within the pharmaceutical space preferred.
  • Experience managing and/or leading culture and change management or organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Proven track record leading organizational effectiveness programs to drive business transformation.
  • Direct, confident and assertive style with a comfort level in "speaking up" and challenging the views of others while simultaneously serving as a collaborative partner.
  • Strategic thinker who is also accustomed to working in a hands-on manner to accomplish multiple priorities.
