Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

The Senior Reporting Accountant plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely reporting for management and meeting strict deadlines throughout the financial year and is primarily responsible for the legal entity and consolidated statutory reporting of our clients' UK Regions entities located in the UK and Denmark.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare statutory financial statements complying with appropriate reporting GAAP
• Ensure all statutory legal entity documentation is completed and filed appropriately
• Review monthly/quarterly local and group reports & presentations: consolidated and individual income statements; cash flow and balance sheets on month and YTD basis; and analysis of performance vs forecasts and budgets
• Monitor and track variances between group/segmental and legal entity reporting
• Review significant variances and accounting movements ensuring complete and accurate statutory results
• Reconcile and liaise with tax department regarding disclosures
• Carry out audit and financial reporting in all jurisdictions
• Prepare and review analysis/reports for internal control requirements
• Liaise with internal and external organisations as required
• Prepare complex analyses and / or reconciliations, as required
• Develop, oversee and manage ad hoc projects, as required
• Other duties/ad-hoc projects as assigned

To be considered, you will hold a relevant degree and a professional accounting qualification (i.e. CIMA/ACCA/CA) and have experience with UK GAAP and IFRS.
