Full Job Description

  • Across the designated business areas provide overall leadership and guidance overseeing Engagement, Talent, career development, succession planning, retention and leadership development. Implementation of established goals and objectives across the HR Business Partnering teams to continually optimise and deliver in line with these objectives.
  • Ability to take raw data and build strategic plans and analysis for the business leading the designated business area and educating the business on how to leverage HR and Upskill managers and senior leaders.
  • Executing the people strategy by working in partnership with your client groups/business areas on the key people priorities and working with the broader HR Business Partnering Team and Senior HR Business Partner to build and deliver solutions.
  • Coaching and developing the leadership team across operations to drive engagement and improvements, building high-performance teams, talent, succession planning and leadership development.
  • Support and work closely with the Head of HR (and deputise when required) with the development of the People Strategy and work collaboratively with the Senior HR Business Partners to ensure effective delivery of the entire HR Business Partner Service across the business.
  • Drive a Key Strategic Pillar and support initiatives across the Business Partnering Team to focus on these & key projects to promote these which could include EDI, Talent /Leadership Development & Wellbeing practices encouraging senior stakeholders and the HRBP team to set realistic targets.
  • Lead on Strategic HR Projects and support the implementation of new systems and processes across the business to support change and drive our people data and metrics through a HR standard of Service and delivery to support business operations.
  • Drive the performance management process across designated business area to ensure clarity of goals and expectations for business results, aligns to performance and drives a culture of accountability for results.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in people management and developmental practices focusing on plans for the future support across the relevant business areas to shape its strategic workforce planning utilising forward thinking HR practices and initiatives to underpin an aligned and effective HR strategy.
  • Lead programmes and project work designed to improve retention, attendance, capability and performance management to coach and support business leaders to take full accountability for the performance and management of their teams/people.
  • Proactively benchmarking HR best practice, internally and externally, recommending and implementing these approaches to support and improve people plans and actions.
  • Ensure that there is a consistent and quality approach in place for reporting and updating the business and for the development of People Plans. Ensure that requirements for people activity are agreed and fed into the plan to ensure that the needs of the business are met by the entire HR function.

    Demonstratable experience of operating at Senior HR Business Partner level leading HR strategies and connecting this with the overall business strategy to people and operations plans
  • Experience analysing data and metrics.
  • Significant experience of leading transformational change and developing and delivering against HR strategies that enable business performance
  • International experience within a people partnering role an advantage
  • Ability to effectively envision, develop and implement new strategies with proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in managing a team demonstrating the ability to motivate a high-performing team
  • Ability to understand company strategy, operational requirements and external employment agenda to shape and deliver solutions that are easy and simple to understand
  • Experience leading HR Programmes and initiatives including talent management and employee engagement
  • Have a passion for developing and coaching people to unlock potential and performance across both the Human Resources Team and Operations
  • Resilient and adaptable and ready to embrace and support regular and ongoing change
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint and strong knowledge of HR Management Systems (HRMIS) data bases
