Full Job Description

RSE's Human Resources department is delighted to welcome applications for our Senior HR Advisor post to join our business based in our Cumbernauld office on a permanent basis. The Senior Advisor will be responsible for overseeing a variety of processes and practices within the organisation, working closely with the Senior HR Manager.

This role involves managing employee relations, including TUPE, performance management, training & development, compensation, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. You will have the opportunity to work with a forward thinking business within a fast paced environment that will also include the provision of services to RSE's Group companies.

Please note owing to the nature of this role and geographical location of RSE's offices, there will be an element of UK travel required.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

Assist Senior Managers with implementing HR strategies and policies.

Utilise HR Analytics to influence business progress and performance.

Ensure HR policies and practices are clearly communicated and implemented.

Stay updated on employment legislation changes and ensure compliance.

Facilitate people transitions during acquisitions and integration.

Provide support on complex employee relations (ER) issues, building strong relationships for a unified HR service.

Design and deliver coaching to managers on ER issues, ensuring they have the skills to perform in their role

Advocate for Diversity and Inclusion, identifying and addressing potential issues.

Ensure compliance in pre-employment checks and onboarding.

Support talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.

Work with managers to retain key talent within the business.

Identify gaps in performance management and provide actionable solutions.

Promote the implementation of the Continuous appraisal process

Collaborate with L&D to conduct skills gap analysis and identify learning opportunities.

Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in a Human Resources discipline

Proven HR generalist competence in an operational HR environment including attraction, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and employee development.

Good understanding of ACAS principles and familiar with current Employment Law matters.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to enable effective dialogue with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.

Able to perform well and remain professional whilst under pressure

Tactful and discreet, whilst mindful of observing professional standards

Proactive in the use of policy and procedure

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Good computer skills primarily use of Outlook, Word, Excel

Full UK Driving Licence
