Full Job Description

My client is a highly respected IFA firm based in the centre of Glasgow. A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced paraplanner or senior IFA support to join the team.

The role will be within the administration team providing support to their highly performing IFAs, working alongside the paraplanners and sales support. It will be exceptionally in depth around pensions transfer business, with client facing elements as and when you gain expertise. Primarily it will involve; Preparation of Suitability Reports, Liaising with product provider to collate pension and investment information for replacement contracts. Providing technical support to the team with paraplanning and research support, Carrying out market research on behalf of adviser prior to meeting. Assist in the on-going due diligence reviews of investment funds and Platforms, Provide appropriate support to the Financial Adviser / MD

To be considered ideally you will have technical report writing experience within an IFA or provider with a sound knowledge of pensions and investments. Having completed exams or studying towards would be advantageous. Experience of using research tools such as FE Analytics ideally knowledge of Intelligent Office would be advantageous.
