Senior International HR Business Partner - FTC 14-16 Months

Eden Scott are partnering with our client within the renewable sector, to recruit a Senior International HR Business Partner on a fixed term contract basis for 14-16 months initially.

Our client has offices globally and this position can be based in Spain, Portugal or Edinburgh with regular travel to these sites.

Advanced knowledge of the English language and of other European language among French, Spanish, Portuguese is desired.

• Be responsible as the main point of contact for the assigned Business Lines
• Be accountable for carrying out the entire set of HR services required for the assigned perimeter (recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, comp&ben, people development, policies)
• Regularly assess people organisation and promote business collaboration and synergies among the different Business and functions;
• Suggest new HR strategies to improve business efficiency;
• Responsible for Human Capital Management (budget process, including headcount, HR overheads, cost and competences)
• Responsible for managing and addressing complex employee relations, complex issues and grievances and redundancies.
• Responsible for special projects: M&A, internalisations and other ad hoc projects

To be successful in this role;

• International experience, with particular focus on Portugal, France and UK
• Knowledge of the European Labor Law Legislation
• Experience with complex employee relations matters like TUPE
• Experience with Trade Union relations
• Experience in restructuring and in managing redundancies
• Strong ability to manage people relations at higher level
• Strong ability to communicate effectively throughout the organisation
