Full Job Description

Iconic Resourcing a delighted to be partnering again with our client, a global service provider based in the heart of Glasgow to recruit a Senior Management Accountant, that will work alongside an experienced team with a key focus on managing multiple stakeholders accounts, multi-currency movements and capital requirements.


Reporting to a Senior Manager, you will be expected to take on a leadership role within a hugely successful and performance driven team. You will be able to demonstrate confidence in dealing with global stakeholders and managing expectations, whilst reporting to agreed timescales.


Key responsibilities:

  • Monthly management account packs and reports for multiple entities
  • P&L Analysis and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Manage and provide oversight to Foreign Exchange and Distribution process
  • Analysis of interest and capital contributions - providing monthly reports
  • Preparation of annual profit statements
  • Cashflow analysis
  • Oversee key reconciliation processes for multi-currency, multiple bank accounts and inter-company accounts
  • Audit - prepare files, schedules etc. and be key point of contact for external auditors
  • Partner with other finance teams i.e. Financial and Technical reporting, Finance Operations and FP&A
  • Project work - continual improvement of standard processes, system review and improvement and ad-hoc project requirements

You will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and have an established career as a Management Accountant. Experience gained within a global organisation with some understanding of Tax, Treasury and Foreign Exchange would be advantageous.


Additionally, good/strong systems acumen will be expected, therefore experience of using various ERP systems with advanced Excel skills would be preferred and high level attention to detail.


A large part of the role will be working with stakeholders in finance and outwith in key operational areas and also at all levels through to Board level, therefore a confident and clear communicator with natural influencing skills would be highly desirable for this role.
