Senior Management Accountant

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a well-known, manufacturing business in East Lothian in order to appoint a Senior Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding business with excellent opportunities for progression.

Role Responsibilities:

• Management of AR, AP, Payroll and GL roles
• Application of sound financial processes and controls
• Production of monthly company and divisional management accounts
• Monthly HMRCE submissions
• Analysis and presentation of key financial information and reports
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are performed on a monthly basis
• Assistance with the preparation of year-end working papers for auditors and tax advisors

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Management Accountant /Assistant Finance Manager
• AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, V and H lookups etc.)
• Experience with Sage and MS ERP systems
• Strong communication skills
• Well organised
