Senior Middleware Engineer

Senior Middleware Engineer| 10 Months (Inside IR35)| Fully Remote.

Harvey Nash's Client is recruiting for a Senior Middleware Engineer on a 10 month contract.

Main Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of activities within projects and driving them to resolution.
• Working with others within and outside of your immediate team to ensure the best outcomes possible are delivered for the services the team support.
• Improving our delivery through innovation and continuous improvement.
• Working with project & technical teams to ensure our solutions meet the organisation's operational and strategic needs.
• Collaborating with internal and external parties to provide excellent customer service
• BAU tasks supporting Important Business Systems including progressing certificate renewals, supporting Route to Live changes

Key Skills

• An expertise in some of these Middleware technologies including:
• IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / ACE / MQ
• Weblogic
• JBoss 7 & 8
• Windows & RHEL OS
• Dynatrace
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in prioritising multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment
• Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience driving complex issues
• An ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership and responsibility for project deliverables
• May require out of hours implementation support for project therefore flexibility regarding working hours and options for overtime
• Ability to effectively communicate and resolve complex situations.
