Based within Performance, Planning and Quality Assurance section at Health & Social Care Headquarters, we are currently recruiting senior officers to work directly with either the Performance & Planning Team or within the Quality Assurance Team. 

You will support Quality Assurance functions in respect of assessment and care planning and service provision across the authority. Your role will also support the development and implementation of policies and procedures in line with national and council policies.  

A key function of the role is to support procurement activity and work directly with providers and commissioned services, ensuring robust contracting procedures are in place, supporting stability and sustainability across the sector.   

You will contribute to the development of Social Work strategic service plans and manage compliance of service delivery consistent with these, working with a range of key stakeholders, both internal and external. 

Applicants must hold a professional qualification at degree level with substantial post qualifying experience working at a senior level within a performance & planning and/ or delivering quality social care services setting.

 (Post is temporary for 23 months from date of appointment)
