This post is in based at the Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis and offers an excellent opportunity for an organised, experienced, and self-motivated UK registered pharmacy technician to help continue exciting work in continued development of a patient focussed SACT pharmacy service. The job role is full time but part time hours may be possible for a suitable applicant. The post-holder will be one of three senior technicians working at this hospital and will be involved in managing the delivery of the SACT service within the hospital. There will also be the opportunity to provide a clinical service to inpatients and to cover for the other two senior pharmacy technicians.

This is an opportunity to live and work in a stunningly beautiful island location. There is an amazing array of outdoor and cultural activities such as kayaking, surfing, climbing, hill walking, diving as well as a wealth of traditional crafts and music related pursuits. We are also only a short journey from Glasgow, Inverness and Edinburgh by plane, with twice daily ferry sailing to Ullapool.
