Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior or Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to lead and shape our clients mechanical engineering projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in groundbreaking projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, healthcare, and education, ensuring top-tier service and delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage mechanical design projects from concept through to completion.
  • Produce detailed mechanical engineering designs, calculations, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the quality and compliance of installations.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical design engineering within the building services sector.
  • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of building regulations and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
