Join us as a Senior Privacy Associate
- You'll be joining NatWest Boxed, our new Banking as a Service business
- We’ll look to you to drive collaboration across the business to ensure effective and up to date awareness of data protection and privacy policy
- You'll influence and challenge senior risk stakeholders in the interpretation and implementation of internal policy and regulatory requirements, flexing between corporate thinking and a start up innovative mindset
What you'll do
As a Senior Privacy Associate, you’ll work with the Data Privacy Officer to develop and deliver processes, procedures, and controls to manage the data privacy risk in support of our data privacy strategy of delivering long term sustainable value and positive customer outcomes.
You’ll also be:
- Driving the data privacy agenda across the business, identifying and producing high quality risk MI tailored to stakeholder’s needs
- Making sure that all requirements of relevant data protection legislation are interpreted and implemented and that associated risks are minimised across the business
- Supporting the development and delivery of processes, procedures, controls, training materials, and records to comply with legal and regulatory obligations
- Reviewing Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), assisting stakeholders with their completion, and making meaningful recommendations in pursuit of the management of risk
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you’ll need knowledge of UK privacy law, regulation, policy, and practices and experience working in the financial services industry and the regulatory and commercial environment in which we operate.
You’ll also need:
- The ability to work independently
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisation skills
- The ability to convey complex information and ideas clearly to stakeholders and embed policy
