Senior Project Accountant

Your new company
You will be working for this successful and sizeable Scottish organisation, who are headquartered in Glasgow. The organisation have a number of key infrastructure projects underway, and you will be joining the team on a fixed-term contract basis over a period of 15 months starting before mid-November.

Your new role
Within this varied role you will be responsible for; assisting project managers with project accounting from start to finish, producing monthly profit and loss reports, help to improve the measurement of the project's profitability and assist with the preparation of quarterly P&L and Capex forecasts and cashflow projections. In addition, you will assist with business cases and help educate and empower staff. You will establish key policy documentation and suggest ways of implementing business performance improvements.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEw) and will have strong business partnering experience. In addition, you will have experience of working in capital investment appraisal with technical knowledge around fixed assets / depreciation.
