Peace Recruitment are delighted to partner with a tier one main contractor who are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be the commercial lead in Scotland, for large-scale retail projects in central belt. This requirement has arisen due to secured pipeline of work for one of UK's premier main contractors.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing project finances, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining profitability. You’ll work closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Commercially lead the project
• Subcontractor procurement
• Provide accurate forecasts
• Financially control the project
• Employ effective value engineering.
• Employ the use of modern and cost-effective technologies where possible.

Requirements

• HND/Degree qualified
• Experience of managing design and build projects.
• Experience of working with a large main contractor
• Experience of managing and running commercial aspects of a project  
• Experience of managing commercial staff
