Senior Scientific Officer - Proteomics

You will play a key role in supporting cutting-edge cancer proteomics projects by:

• Operating mass spectrometers and associated systems.
• Performing regular instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Utilizing data analysis platforms to extract meaningful insights.
• Collaborating closely with top researchers and contributing to the development of innovative MS methods and protocols.
  
  We're seeking a driven and talented scientist who shares our passion for advancing proteomics and cancer research. You'll bring:
• A relevant degree and strong lab skills in the proteomics field.
• Proven experience in sample preparation, Orbitrap mass spectrometry, and liquid chromatography (LC) techniques.
• Familiarity with MS data analysis using key software (MaxQuant, Perseus, Spectronaut, Skyline) is a plus, though not essential.
Your Skills and Attributes Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with multidisciplinary teams of scientists.

Project outline The Advanced Technology Proteomics Facility is at the forefront of developing and applying state-of-the-art mass spectrometry (MS)-based platforms for quantitative analysis of biological samples.
