Job Description

Glasgow City Council is Scotland’s largest local authority. Its Chief Executive's Department wishes to appoint a Senior Solicitor to work within its Litigation team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery for legal advice and litigation support to the Council arising from GCC statutory role as defender in cases against the former Strathclyde Regional Council.

A prior kowledge or interest in claims and personal injury litigation at Sheriff Court and Court of Session would be an advantage.
