Job – Senior Structural Technician

Location – Dunfermline

Contract Type – Permanent

The Company

A proactive consultancy specialising in providing civil and structural engineering services, with dedicated specialist divisions in geo-environmental consultancy. The team is renowned for delivering innovative solutions across a wide portfolio of projects in all sectors.

They are now looking for a skilled Senior Structural Technician to join their dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional engineering projects.

The Role

Developing engineers’ sketches and overmarks into full production drawings for structural works.
Creating construction details and carrying out design detailing of junctions.
Collaborating with Project Engineers to clarify technical issues.
Utilising your working knowledge of REVIT to exchange models with fellow design team members.
Applying a fundamental understanding of civil design in your work.

Your Background

Have a strong working knowledge of REVIT and its application in model exchanges.
Possess experience in structural detailing, including construction details and junctions.
Be a proactive communicator, liaising effectively with Project Engineers and design team members.
Demonstrate a basic awareness of civil design principles.
Be eager to work on diverse projects across multiple sectors, contributing to cutting-edge engineering solutions.
