Salary: 45,000 to 55,000

Eden Scott are pleased to be supporting their Developer client with the appointment of a Senior Technical Advisor to join their Advisory business. This represents an excellent opportunity for an engineer with grid scale energy storage experience to join a leading international renewable consultancy. The department is made up of a diverse range of engineers, advisors and project managers with unique experience advising on a broad range of renewable energy and storage projects, throughout the project life. Their services range from feasibility assessments to technical due diligence, to procurement of projects and other advisory services to leading investors, lenders and asset owners.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

* Execute activities related to design, technical due diligence and advisory projects being undertaken by the company, with emphasis on interdisciplinary thinking and approach. The primary focus of the role will be on energy storage, with opportunities to support the wider team on other technologies from time to time.
* Lead, manage and contribute to projects, acting as the main point of contact for clients as well as coordinating workstreams internally.
* Financial budget control and reporting of assigned projects.
* Prepare, negotiate and deliver proposals and contracts in conjunction with the business development team and the client.
* Contribute to thought leadership, internal processes and tools, and development of new service offerings in your field.
* Work with the Advisory lead to assess and develop new service offerings.
* Preparation of thought pieces and white papers to further develop and showcase our capabilities.
* Occasional travel within Europe as part of project delivery, for client meetings, or to attend events

Role Requirements:

*Engineering Degree
*Significant knowledge of grid scale energy storage technology, development and construction processes
